Winchestival Competition

1. The promoter is: Wine Festival Limited (company registration number 8787677).
2. Employees of Wine Festival Limited, their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. Route to entry for the competition is via email, Twitter, Instagram or Facebook and details of how to enter are available on our website
5. The competition will close at midnight on Thursday 26th April 2018. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
7. The competition prizes consist of three pairs of tickets, each pair being two tickets, to Winchestival on 16th June 2018.
8. Each winner will be eligible to win one pair of tickets only (i.e. maximum two tickets per winner).
9. Winners will be notified and put in touch with Winchestival.
10. Travel to Winchestival is not included in the prize. The winner will be responsible for organising and paying for their own travel.
11. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. The promoter will notify any changes to the competition to entrants as soon as possible.
12. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
13. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. Tickets for Winchestival are valid only for 16th June 2018.
14. Winners will be chosen at random and the promoter’s decision is final.
15. The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 24 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
16. Entrants must be 18 years old or older to take part in the competition – If they look under 21, proof of age will be required. Failure to provide proof of age within 7 days will result in a replacement winner.
17. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
20. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image, or any other material, words and/or images supplied as part of the competition entry, in any publicity material.
21. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely by Wine Festival Limited in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
22. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: PO Box 613, Winchester SO23 3JR
23. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
24. The Wine Festival is running this competition but tickets and all related matters will be handled by Winchestival. The Wine Festival takes no responsibility beyond notifying winners and putting them in touch with Winchestival. The Wine Festival will bear no responsibility for Winchestival’s actions after winners have been notified, including issuing of tickets, cancellation of the event or any other matter.
